BEYOND ACCESSION - BRITISH AND HUNGARIAN PERSPECTIVES ON EUROPE
Entitled ?New Meanings of Insecurity: Security Policy in the New Europe? the workshop is part of the ?Beyond Accession? series of the British Council (BC) initiated in October 2001.
George Schöpflin, Jean Monnet Professor at the School of Slavonic and East European Studies at University College London will chair the workshop. Heather Grabbe, Research Director at the Centre for European Reform in London, will join Istvan Szent-Ivanyi and discuss the subject.

In selecting participants, we will look to achieve an appropriate balance of staff and post-graduate students from the various academic institutions, and representatives of the media, NGOs and public office.
