NEW CALL FOR SCHOLARS!

Additional selection round for Scholarship programme at ECAS (European
Citizen Action Service) in 2005 for NGO leaders from Albania, Estonia,
Hungary, Macedonia and Serbia and Montenegro!

The scholarship programme at ECAS office in Brussels continues into
2005. So far a number of NGO leaders from Poland, the Czech Republic,
Slovakia, Slovenia and Latvia have already visited ECAS.

For the year 2005 we already selected the participants from Belarus,
Lithuania and Ukraine, but there are still places available for NGO
leaders from Albania, Estonia, Hungary, Macedonia and Serbia and
Montenegro, so we would encourage anyone who is interested in spending
one month in Brussels at ECAS office to get in touch with us at:
NGOs@ecas.org

We decided to prolong the deadline for application in this Programme for
above-mentioned countries until 31 July, 2005!

During your month long scholarship in Brussels accommodation is provided
together with a stipend to cover your living costs. Visitors are
responsible for their own travel arrangements. ECAS will also provide
technical support and guidance during your time in Brussels.

In order to qualify for the scholarship in Brussels you should be a
leader of an NGO community in your country (at least 2-3 years of
experience) and be able to communicate in English. Other languages are
an advantage but not a necessity.

Do not hesitate to contact us for further details. To your application,
please, attach your latest CV in English language and supporting letter
from your organisation.

I look forward to your applications!

Cecilia Liljegren, ECAS
