BUILDING NETWORKS OF COOPERATION BETWEEN CIVIL SOCIETY AND PUBLIC ADMINISTRATIONS IN THE ENLARGED EUROPE
The conference will cover important topics such as the involvement of civil society in national and local decision-making processes, the future of EU cohesion policy and the implementation of the partnership principle.
An important focus of the conference will be on the new Member States.
At the same time, the conference will represent the official launch of the “COOPERATE” project which promotes cooperation between civil society and public administrations in the new member states particularly in the field of European programmes.
The conference is expected to attract participants from the enlarged EU ranging from civil society organisations (such as NGOs, European platforms, foundations and associations) to European, regional and local actors (such as development agencies, consultancies, academics and researchers).
