EPHA 4TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE
2013-07-16

4-5 September 2013, Brussels

In an official event of the Lithuanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the European Public Health Alliance (EPHA) will celebrate, on 4 and 5 September 2013, 20 years of helping shape Europe’s public health in a conference entitled Brave New World: Inclusive Growth and Well-Being or Vested Interests and Lost Generations? EPHA is using this milestone as an opportunity to look at how we can foster an EU that is coherent in its decisions, in terms of fostering the health and well-being of people living in Europe.

Some of the speakers include: Tonio Borg, European Commissioner for Health and Consumer Policy (DG SANCO); Paola Testori Coggi, Director-General for DG SANCO; Vytenis Povilas Andriukaitis, Lithuanian Minister of Health; Zsuzsanna Jakab, WHO Regional Director for Europe; Yves Leterme, Deputy Secretary General of the Organisation of Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD); and Robert Madelin, Director-General for DG Communications Networks, Content and Technology.

This event is free for EPHA members. NGOs, representatives of the European institutions and students can also register free of charge (except for the Master Class for a fee of EUR 75). For other participants, like public authorities, academics, and non-affiliated individuals, the fee to attend our Annual Conference is EUR 100 per person. For economic operators the fee is EUR 280 per person.

Spaces are limited and given on a first-come, first-served basis. Only a limited number of seats are available for non-members of EPHA. Please register via the below link before 29 July:
